Who IV therapy may be right for
Who IV therapy at GIOSTAR is for
GIOSTAR builds IV therapy for adults who have a big weekend, a race or a long trip coming up, spend days outdoors in the Las Vegas heat, or want one standing monthly drip. Most people weigh four questions before they book, and the next sections answer each one.
Which drip fits my plans?
A nurse practitioner guides your pick from five drips and NAD+.
Who gives the drip?
Each drip comes from a licensed professional at our Henderson wellness center, after your nurse practitioner reviews your history.
How long will I be in the chair?
Most drips run about 45 to 60 minutes, then back to your day.
What will it cost?
Your full total before you book, and monthly payments through Cherry if you want them.
Our drips are for adults 18 and over. Confirmation that a drip is right for you comes from your nurse practitioner.

What IV therapy is and how it works
GIOSTAR delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals or other nutrients through a small IV in your arm, at our Henderson wellness center.
What an IV drip is
You sit in a recliner, read or answer email, and head back to your day when the bag finishes. A licensed professional gives every drip here, and your nurse practitioner reviews your history first.
How a visit runs
First comes a review of your history, medications and plans with your nurse practitioner, who then chooses a drip with you. A small IV goes in your arm, and the bag runs at a pace your provider sets. If you feel cool, warm or lightheaded, tell us and we slow it down.

IV therapy drip menu
The IV therapy drip menu at GIOSTAR
Pick by what is on your calendar. Choosing happens with your nurse practitioner at your free consultation.
IV Hydration
Our simplest IV therapy drip: a bag of fluid with electrolytes. A fit for days in the heat, long flights and hard workouts.
- Sterile fluid, sodium and chloride
- Roughly 45 to 60 minutes in the chair
- As needed, from weekly to monthly
Myers Cocktail
The classic all-round vitamin and mineral drip, run slowly. Where Hydration IV is mostly fluid, the Myers is mostly nutrients.
- Magnesium, calcium, B vitamins and vitamin C
- 60 to 90 minutes, run slowly
- Weekly to start, then monthly
Immunity Boost
Our vitamin C drip, with minerals and fluid alongside, in two strengths your nurse practitioner picks from.
- Vitamin C, magnesium and other minerals, in a sterile fluid base
- 45 to 120 minutes, by strength
- Monthly, or as your provider advises
Beauty & Glow
The only drip on our menu built around glutathione and biotin, the B vitamin in many hair, skin and nail supplements, with vitamin C and fluid.
- Glutathione, biotin, vitamin C and fluid
- About 45 to 60 minutes
- Timed around events on your calendar, or monthly
Performance & Recovery
Fluids, electrolytes and amino acids, the building blocks of protein, built for active people. Tell us before you book if you compete in a tested sport.
- Saline fluid, electrolytes and amino acids
- About 45 to 60 minutes
- Weekly in a heavy training block, then monthly or around big events
NAD+ infusions
NAD+ runs slowly over 2 to 4 hours, in three doses, and has its own page. See NAD+ IV therapy.
Your IV therapy visit, from consultation to follow-up
IV therapy at GIOSTAR, in five steps
Your first step is a free consultation. In the chair, most drips take about an hour, and you go back to your day after.
Free consultation
You talk with our patient team, free and with no obligation.
Meet your nurse practitioner
An in-person visit in Henderson to review your history and medications and choose your drip.
Treatment day
About an hour for most drips, longer for Myers Cocktail, in a recliner in our IV lounge.
Aftercare
You leave with aftercare instructions and our number for any question.
Follow-up
We ask how you felt and whether your schedule calls for a regular rhythm before your next drip.
Before and after your visit
- Your free consultation
- Start with a free consultation with our patient team. We explain how IV therapy works at GIOSTAR, ask what is on your calendar, walk you through each step and book your visit with a nurse practitioner.
- Your nurse practitioner visit
- Next, meet your nurse practitioner in person at our Henderson wellness center. Bring a list of your medicines and supplements. At this visit your nurse practitioner reviews your history, medications and plans, chooses your drip with you and gives you the full total before you book. This is the medical review every IV needs, so you usually don't need a note from your own doctor first.
- Before your drip
- Drink a glass or two of water that morning, eat a light meal a few hours ahead and wear a top with sleeves that roll up. Bring your list of medicines and supplements.
- On treatment day
- We check your blood pressure and pulse first. The bag runs while you relax. A first visit can stretch to 90 minutes, because your health review comes before the drip.
- Aftercare
- Leave the bandage on for 15 minutes and keep the IV site dry for an hour. Keep drinking water through the day and keep to light activity for the rest of the day.
- Follow-up
- Before your next drip, we ask how you felt and whether your schedule calls for a regular rhythm. You decide together, with the price in front of you.
- What's normal after IV therapy
- Normal after a drip: a small bruise where the IV went in, extra restroom trips for a few hours, and a cool or warm feeling while the bag runs. Bright yellow urine for a day is normal after B vitamins. Call us at 702.703.5393 if the IV site swells, turns red or keeps bleeding after 15 minutes of pressure, or if you feel lightheaded an hour after leaving. Chest pain or severe trouble breathing: call 911.

Fluids, vitamins, minerals or other nutrients go in through a small IV in your arm. Before any drip, your nurse practitioner reviews your history, and a licensed professional gives it at our Henderson wellness center.
The cost of IV therapy at GIOSTAR depends on the drip you choose and how often you come in. Your nurse practitioner gives you the full total at your free consultation, before you book. Talk with our care team about your options, including monthly payment plans through Cherry.
Plan on about an hour for most drips. Expect up to 90 minutes the first time, because your health review and vital signs come before the drip. Myers Cocktail runs 60 to 90 minutes.
Match the drip to what is on your calendar. Most of Hydration IV is fluid, most of the Myers Cocktail is nutrients, Beauty & Glow adds glutathione and biotin, and Performance & Recovery adds amino acids for active people. At your visit, your nurse practitioner helps you choose.
Usually not. The visit with our nurse practitioner is the medical review every IV needs. With a heart or kidney concern, your nurse practitioner may check with your own doctor first.
We treat adults 18 and over. Tell your nurse practitioner about your full health history and medications, including pregnancy or breastfeeding, heart, kidney or liver concerns, and any limit your own doctor has set, such as on fluids. Once you have shared that, your nurse practitioner confirms whether a drip is right for you.
Before booking, tell us if you compete in a tested sport. Together you and your nurse practitioner talk through your options.
Drips here are for adults 18 and over.
Either works. Some people come in the day before a flight, and others the morning after landing.
NAD+ is the slow drip, 2 to 4 hours in three doses, and it has its own page. For the full picture, see NAD+ IV therapy.
It depends on the drip. Hydration IV runs weekly to monthly as needed, the Myers Cocktail weekly to start and then monthly, and Beauty & Glow monthly or timed around events. At follow-ups, your nurse practitioner adjusts the rhythm they set with you.
No. Insurance does not cover IV therapy, but Cherry offers monthly payment plans, and we go over every cost with you before you begin.
