GIOSTAR Longevity & Wellness, Henderson

Inflammation Blood Testing at GIOSTAR Longevity & Wellness

At GIOSTAR, inflammation markers are part of the Diagnostic Lab Panel, a full-body blood panel ordered by a GIOSTAR nurse practitioner. You give one morning blood draw at a Quest location near you, and that nurse practitioner reviews every marker with you. It starts with a free consultation.
  • Six marker groups, one draw
  • A Quest location near you
  • Results in about a week
  • Every marker reviewed with you

Who an inflammation blood test may be right for

Who inflammation blood testing at GIOSTAR is for

Active adults who want to see their inflammation markers next to the rest of their bloodwork, with a nurse practitioner who explains every number. Four questions come up first.

  • Is GIOSTAR a real institute?

A licensed team in Henderson, backed by a research institute with centers worldwide.

  • Who orders and reads the panel?

A GIOSTAR nurse practitioner orders it and goes through every marker with you.

  • Where is my blood drawn?

At a Quest location near you, on a morning that suits you.

  • What will it cost?

The Diagnostic Lab Panel starts at $199, and you get your full total before you book.

At your consultation, tell us about your full health history, every medication and supplement you take, and any allergies. Then your nurse practitioner confirms which panel fits.

What the Diagnostic Lab Panel measures, inflammation markers included

The Diagnostic Lab Panel at GIOSTAR reads hormone, metabolism, heart, thyroid, nutrient and inflammation markers from a single morning draw, so you and your nurse practitioner see the whole picture in one place.

What the panel covers

In general, a panel like this looks at hormones, metabolic markers such as blood sugar, thyroid markers, lipids, inflammation markers, vitamins and minerals, and blood counts and organ function markers. The nurse practitioner confirms which markers are right for you.

Inflammation markers, read beside the rest

Your nurse practitioner reads your inflammation markers next to your hormones, metabolic markers, lipids and nutrients from the same draw, and confirms which markers are right for you.

Free and with no obligation, you talk with our patient team.

  2. Meet your nurse practitioner

  3. Book your draw at Quest

After your nurse practitioner orders the panel, you book a morning appointment at a Quest location near you.

Before and after your visit
Your free consultation
Your free consultation is with our patient team. We explain how the blood test works at GIOSTAR, walk you through each step and the pricing, and book your visit with a nurse practitioner.
Your nurse practitioner visit
Next, meet your nurse practitioner in person at our Henderson wellness center. We review your history, goals and medications. At that visit, your nurse practitioner confirms which markers fit and gives you the full total before you book.
Before your draw
Book an early morning slot. Fast 8 to 12 hours, drinking plain water only, because coffee, even black, changes some results. Drink extra water the evening before, and wear short sleeves or a loose sleeve.
Medicines and supplements
Stay on prescribed medicines unless your provider tells you otherwise. For testosterone or other hormones, ask us when to take your dose, because timing changes the reading. Pause biotin, which is common in hair, skin and nail supplements and many multivitamins, for 72 hours before your draw unless your provider tells you otherwise, because it can skew some results. Tell us if you are pregnant, or take birth control, hormones or a blood thinner.
On draw day
Expect a quick draw, with a pinch as the needle goes in. Press on the site for a few minutes afterward and eat the snack you brought. If needles make you woozy, tell the Quest team when you arrive and ask to lie back for the draw.
Your results review
Your results come in about a week, then your nurse practitioner walks you through every marker in plain language and flags anything worth watching. Bring questions about any number you do not recognize.
Follow-up
Your nurse practitioner turns your numbers into clear next steps for your plan and tells you which markers to recheck and when. Many people repeat the panel every 3 to 6 months so the next draw compares like for like.
What's normal after your blood draw
A small bruise that fades in a few days, and feeling a little lightheaded until you eat. Call us any time at 702.703.5393, and call right away if the site keeps bleeding after 10 minutes of pressure or your arm turns swollen, hot or more painful.
