What NAD+ IV therapy is and how it works
GIOSTAR gives NAD+ through an IV drip, slowly, over 2 to 4 hours in a recliner at our Henderson wellness center.
What NAD+ is
NAD+ is a coenzyme, a helper molecule found in every cell of your body. Many people know it from capsules and powders. By IV, it goes straight into your bloodstream and skips digestion.
A slow drip, set to your comfort
Your drip has two parts: NAD+ at the dose you choose, and sterile saline that dilutes it. We start the pump gently, check in often, and slow it within seconds if you feel any pressure. Our vitamin drips take about an hour, and NAD+ runs longer.

NAD+ IV therapy doses

250 mg
About 2 hours in the recliner, where we usually start first-timers.
500 mg
Roughly 2 to 4 hours in the recliner.

Closer to 3 to 4 hours in the recliner.

Before and after your visit
- Your free consultation
- Start with a free consultation with our patient team. We explain how NAD+ IV therapy works at GIOSTAR, walk you through each step and the pricing, and book your visit with a nurse practitioner.
- Your nurse practitioner visit
- Next, meet your nurse practitioner in person at our Henderson wellness center. We go over your medications and your heart, liver and kidney history, then pick your starting dose and session plan. You get the full total from your nurse practitioner before you book.
- Before your drip
- Eat a light meal and drink water a couple of hours ahead. Skip alcohol the day before, and through your starting series. Block out 2 to 4 hours, and bring a book or laptop.
- On treatment day
- We check your vitals, then start the pump slowly. Warmth or flushing in your face and chest, a queasy stomach or cramping can happen, mostly in a first session. Tell us at the first pressure or nausea and we slow or pause the drip until it passes. You relax in a recliner for the whole session.
- Aftercare
- Take the rest of the day easy, drink water through the evening, and save hard workouts for tomorrow.
- Follow-up
- After your first session we ask how the drip felt, then adjust your dose or pace for the next one. In a typical start, a short series of three to six sessions runs over 1 to 3 weeks, then maintenance sessions follow, spaced weeks apart.
- What's normal after NAD+ IV therapy
- What is normal: warmth or flushing while the drip runs, pressure in your chest that eases when we slow down, and tiredness or mild cramps for the rest of the day. Call us at 702.703.5393 if nausea, cramps or headache are still there the next day, if chest tightness returns after you leave, or if your heart races or flutters once you're home. A fast drip can bring on flushing, nausea and chest pressure, so we give it time. As a guide, plan on about 2 hours at 250 mg, 2 to 4 hours at 500 mg, and 3 to 4 hours at 1,000 mg.
First-timers usually start at 250 mg so we can see how they feel, then move up over later sessions. You and your nurse practitioner settle on a dose together.
The cost of NAD+ IV therapy at GIOSTAR depends on your dose and the number of sessions in your plan. Your nurse practitioner gives you the full total at your free consultation, before you book. A short series of three to six sessions over 1 to 3 weeks is the usual start, then maintenance sessions spaced weeks apart. Ask about multi-session packages at your consultation.
You might feel warmth, chest pressure, a queasy stomach or cramping, mostly in a first session. These come from the drip rate and ease within minutes when we slow it.
Yes. Plan a light meal a couple of hours before, plus plenty of water. Leave alcohol out the day before and through your starting series.
