Who gives the injection?
A nurse practitioner, after reviewing your history in person.
How long is the visit?
1 to 2 hours on treatment day, and you go home the same day.
Does it hurt?
Expect a needle stick and a moment of pressure.
What will it cost?
You get your full total in writing before you book.
If an IV plan or another option suits you better, your nurse practitioner tells you at your visit.

Where GIOSTAR stem cells come from
Ethically sourced cells, checked lot by lot
Every injection plan uses the same donor cells as the rest of our stem cell care, and each lot arrives with a Certificate of Analysis.
Ethically sourced
Cells come from donated tissue, given with consent, and we never use embryos.
Donors screened and tested
GIOSTAR screens and tests every donor before using any tissue.
Certificate of Analysis
A Certificate of Analysis comes with each lot.
Full traceability
Each lot carries full traceability, from donation to your treatment day.
How a stem cell injection works at GIOSTAR
An injection is the targeted route: the cells go to the treatment area your plan names, not through the bloodstream.
What an injection is
Your nurse practitioner places the cells directly in the treatment area. There is no surgery, no incision and no general anesthesia, and the visit takes place in a private treatment room.
Single Site and Multi-Site
A Single Site plan covers one treatment area. A Multi-Site plan covers two or more areas in the same visit. Your nurse practitioner recommends one at your in-person visit.
The cells themselves
The cells are the same on every GIOSTAR plan: mesenchymal stem cells from donors we screen and test, with a Certificate of Analysis and full traceability for each lot. The injection is the route, and the cells do not change.

Injection plans
Stem cell injection plans: Single Site, Multi-Site and repeat dose
Every injection plan starts from the same visit. What changes is how many areas the plan covers and whether you repeat.
Single Site
One treatment area, one treatment. Single Site plans, starting at $9,000, and Founding Members take 15% off.
- One area in one visit
- Priced at your consultation
- The usual starting point
Multi-Site
Two or more areas treated together. Your nurse practitioner quotes the total once the areas are set.
- Several areas, one visit
- Total quoted at your visit
- More areas means more cells and time
Repeat dose
Some people choose a second treatment around six months after the first. You decide at your follow-ups, with the price in front of you.
- Around six months later
- Always your choice
- Priced when you choose it

Follow-up

Before and after your injection
- Where the cells go is decided first
- An injection plan begins with a conversation about where. Your nurse practitioner reviews your history, your medications and what you have already tried, then sets the area or areas with you before anything is scheduled.
- Before injection day
- Stop ibuprofen-type pain relievers 7 days before, and pause blood thinners only with your prescriber's approval. Skip alcohol for 48 hours and drink plenty of water.
- In the room
- You sit or lie in a private treatment room. Your nurse practitioner prepares the area, gives the injection and checks in with you as it goes. Expect a needle stick and a moment of pressure.
- After the injection
- Written aftercare instructions come from your nurse practitioner before you leave. Avoid ibuprofen-type pain relievers for 2 weeks, keep to light activity for 1 to 2 days and return to workouts once you are cleared.
- Bring someone along
- You can usually drive yourself home. For extra support after an injection, bring someone along, especially if your plan covers more than one area.
- What's normal after a stem cell injection
- Soreness or swelling at the treated area for a few days. Tiredness, a headache or a flu-like feeling for a day or two. A low-grade fever that fades within 48 hours. Call us at 702.703.5393 with any question.
- Injection or IV
- An IV gives the cells through the bloodstream instead of to a named area. Our guide to stem cell injections and IV infusions sets the two routes side by side, and the stem cell IV page covers the IV visit.

A stem cell injection places donor mesenchymal stem cells in a treatment area your nurse practitioner names. It is one of two routes at GIOSTAR, the other being an IV. For the full overview, see stem cell therapy in Las Vegas.
Most people describe a needle stick and brief pressure. There is no surgery, no incision and no general anesthesia. Some soreness at the treated area is common for a few days, and you go home the same day.
Plan for 1 to 2 hours with us on injection day, and you go home the same day. You can usually drive yourself home. For extra support after an injection, bring someone along.
A Single Site plan covers one treatment area. A Multi-Site plan treats several areas in a single appointment. Your nurse practitioner recommends one at your in-person visit, after reviewing your history and goals.
A licensed nurse practitioner gives every injection plan, with our registered nurse on the care team and Dr. Ryan Peterson, our medical director, overseeing care. You meet your nurse practitioner in person before any plan is set.
The price of Single Site plans starts at $9,000, and Founding Members take 15% off as long as they remain members. Multi-Site totals are quoted at your visit. See stem cell therapy cost for payment plans, HSA and FSA.
An injection places the cells in a named treatment area, while an IV gives them through the bloodstream. The cells are the same on both routes. Your nurse practitioner recommends the route at your visit.
Return to light activity usually takes 1 to 2 days. Your written aftercare includes avoiding ibuprofen-type pain relievers for 2 weeks. At 2 weeks, then every 3 months, we check in and adjust your plan with you.
They come from tissue donated after healthy, full-term births, with the mother's consent. We use no embryos, and no harm comes to mother or baby. Every donor is screened and tested, and each lot has a Certificate of Analysis.
No. Our stem cell and exosome therapies are not approved by the FDA. GIOSTAR offers this care as a self-pay service, and before you decide, your nurse practitioner reviews your history and walks you through the process, the risks and the full cost.
